Summary
An Okamura mesh task chair designed with Italdesign, with an ankle-tilt recline and three back heights.
Best for
- People who want the seat to move with the back as they recline (ankle tilt).
- Choosing a low, high or extra-high back.
- Picking a mesh with zones of different density, or a standard elastic mesh.
Good to check first
- Lumbar support and the headrest are options, so add them when you order.
- Okamura's Japan store takes no change-of-mind returns, so try one in a showroom if you can.
- The seat slides 50 mm for depth; check the 400–450 mm range against your thigh length.
The trade-off
A proven ankle-tilt recline and many back choices, with key supports sold as options.

Ankle-tilt recline
The recline pivots near the ankle, and the seat moves with the back up to 23°. Okamura says this keeps the chair following you as you work.
Mesh choices
The back comes in a standard elastic mesh or a gradient mesh whose density changes by zone. Okamura offers 12 mesh colours.
Headrest and lumbar options
The optional wide headrest moves 90 mm in height. The optional lumbar support moves through five steps over 50 mm.
Adjustable arms
The arms rise 100 mm on a ratchet, and the pads turn 60° inward or 30° outward.
As described by Okamura on its official pages; not a Chairpedia assessment.
