Summary

A mesh task chair with a three-zone adaptive lumbar, a 4D headrest and an optional footrest.

Best for

  • Heights 5'1" to 6'5", HBADA's recommended range.
  • People who want lumbar support with side wings that angle separately.
  • Reclining breaks; the back locks at four positions up to 140°, and a footrest is optional.
  • Users up to 330 lb, HBADA's stated maximum load.

Good to check first

  • Choose with or without the footrest at checkout; it is a separate option on the E3 Pro.
  • Seat height runs 46–54.5 cm (about 18.1–21.5 in) on HBADA's EU store; check it against your desk.
  • The chair arrives mostly built; you attach the base, seat and backrest.
  • Keep the original box for 30 days; returns without it may carry a fee.

The trade-off

A full set of adjustments at a mid-range price, on a steel frame rather than the aluminium alloy of the E3 Ultra and X7.

What HBADA highlights

  • 3-zone adaptive lumbar

The lumbar has a centre pad and two side wings that rotate up to 40°. It moves 6 cm in height over six levels and can glide with you or lock in place. HBADA says it tracks the spine as you move.

  • 4D dual-axis headrest

The headrest frame and axis each rotate 70°, with 4 cm of height and 7 cm of forward-back travel. HBADA says it supports the neck and shoulders.

  • 720° armrests

The pads and the arm bodies each swivel 360°, and the arms move 7 cm in height and 6 cm forward and back. HBADA says this keeps arms and wrists in line as you work.

  • Four-position tilt lock

The back reclines up to 140° and locks at four positions. HBADA presents it as a switch between focused work and a full recline.

  • Breathable mesh seat

The seat uses a micro-perforated mesh on a steel frame, and its depth adjusts by 5 cm. HBADA says the depth setting suits different body types.
