At a glance

How to choose

  • Set your budget on the version you want: a footrest, headrest or other arm options can move a chair from the bottom of its range to the top.
  • Check seat height and seat depth against your legs before you compare features.
  • Look at the weight rating: here it runs from 300 lb to 400 lb.
  • Check the warranty term in each brand's own specifications; it varies widely at this price.

How we ranked

  • Who is included: published office task chairs in our catalog (gaming, saddle, kneeling and conference chairs are left out) whose official US list price from the brand's own store starts at $1,000 or less. Sale prices are ignored, and chairs listed only for the Japanese market are left out.
  • Spec record (up to 20): 20 if the brand publishes the main measurements (spec grade A), 10 if it publishes some (grade B).
  • Features (up to 40): 8 points each for headrest, lumbar support, armrests, recline/tilt and adjustable seat depth, when the brand's own specifications list them. A single seat-depth figure counts only if the brand gives a range or says it adjusts.
  • Weight capacity (up to 20): 20 for 330 lb or more, 15 for 300 lb or more, 10 for 250 lb or more, 5 for any lower published figure, 0 if not published.
  • Warranty (up to 20): 4 points per year, up to 5 years; lifetime counts as 20.
  • Ties go to the lower list price, then the name. Affiliate links and commissions play no part in the order, and the score is not a comfort or hands-on test result.

HBADA E3 Air (2026 Edition)
HBADA

HBADA E3 Air (2026 Edition)

Price: $499 – $549

Score 100/100 — Spec record A: 20 · features (headrest, lumbar support, armrests, recline/tilt, adjustable seat depth): 40 · capacity 330 lb: 20 · warranty 5 yr: 20

The E3 Air 2026 Edition is the lighter, lower-priced sibling of HBADA's E3 Pro. It keeps the three-zone lumbar (a centre pad with two side wings that pivot), the 4D dual-axis headrest, an all-mesh seat and an adjustable seat depth, and it is sold in Black or Gray, with or without a pull-out footrest. This page covers the 2026 Edition (HBADA SKUs E301…E-DLZ) sold under the same name on HBADA's US, UK and EU stores; HBADA's US store also still lists an earlier E3 Air, which is a different listing. Official figures: HBADA's EU store lists a seat height of 46.5–55 cm (8.5 cm of travel), a seat depth of 43–48 cm (5 cm of travel), a seat width of 51.5 cm, an armrest height of 68.5–84 cm and a five-position tilt up to 140°. The armrests move 7 cm up and down and 10 cm forward and back and the pads rotate 360°; the lumbar moves 5 cm in height (6 steps) and 3 cm in depth (4 steps), with 40° of side-wing rotation; the headrest moves 4 cm up and down and 7 cm forward and back, with two 70° rotation axes; the backrest itself rises 8 cm. The US store lists a 330 lb / 150 kg maximum load, overall dimensions of 26.4"-28" deep, 24.8" wide and 44.3"-52.4" high, and a recommended user height of 5'1" to 6'5" (155–195 cm). HBADA does not publish the chair's own weight. Warranty: the US store lists 5 years on the base, gas lift and casters and 3 years on other parts (mechanism, arms, backrest and so on). Price: the HBADA US store lists $499 without the footrest and $549 with it. On 2026-10-09 the store was running a sale ($379 / $427); we record the list price only, so check the live page before ordering. Compared with the E3 Pro (2026 Edition), HBADA's own comparison says the E3 Pro adds flip-up 720° arms, more lumbar height travel and a little more seat-depth travel, while the E3 Air has lower-reaching arms and one more recline lock. What to check before ordering: whether the lowest seat height (46.5 cm) suits your leg length, and whether you want the footrest version.

Good to check first: The armrest pads rotate 360°; for arms that also swivel at the body, look at the E3 Pro's 720° arms.

Best for: People who want HBADA's three-zone lumbar, 4D headrest and adjustable seat depth at a lower list price than the E3 Pro

Pros

  • Three-zone lumbar with published travel (5 cm height, 3 cm depth, 40° side wings)
  • Adjustable seat depth 43–48 cm and seat width 51.5 cm (HBADA EU store)
  • Five-position tilt up to 140°; optional footrest version

Good to know

  • Warranty on the mechanism, arms and backrest is 3 years
  • HBADA does not publish the chair's own weight
  • The UK store's seat width and seat height figures do not match the EU store's

The E3 Pro 2026 Edition is HBADA's mesh office chair with a three-zone lumbar support: a centre pad and two side wings that HBADA says follow the back as you move, plus a 4D dual-axis headrest, 720° armrests, an adjustable seat depth and a four-position recline. It comes in Black or Gray, with or without a pull-out footrest. This page covers the 2026 Edition (HBADA SKUs E301…E-DLZ) that HBADA's US, UK and EU stores sell under the same name; HBADA's US store also still lists the earlier E3 Pro, which is a different listing. Official figures: HBADA's EU store gives a seat height of 46–54.5 cm (8.5 cm of travel), a seat depth of 45–50 cm (5 cm of travel) and a seat width of 51.5 cm, and four recline positions at 105°, 115°, 130° and 140°. The UK store specification list gives the armrest travel (2.76" / 7 cm up and down, 2.36" / 6 cm forward and back, 360° pad and 360° body rotation, flip-up 26° and flip-down 13°), an armrest height of 28.3"–34.4", the lumbar travel (6 height levels over 2.36" / 6 cm, 1.26" / 3.2 cm forward and back, 40° side-wing rotation) and the headrest travel (1.57" / 4 cm up and down, 2.76" / 7 cm forward and back, two 70° rotation axes). HBADA does not publish the chair's own weight. Warranty: the US store lists 5 years on core load-bearing parts (base, gas lift, casters) and 3 years on other parts (mechanism, arms, backrest and so on). Price: the HBADA US store lists $659 without the footrest and $709 with it. On 2026-10-08 the store was running a sale ($487 / $539); we record the list price only, so check the live page before ordering. HBADA's UK and EU stores sell the same 2026 Edition in pounds and euros. What to check before ordering: the seat depth range (45–50 cm) if you have long or short thighs, whether you need the footrest version, and the armrest height range (28.3"–34.4") against your desk height.

Good to check first: Choose with or without the footrest at checkout; it is a separate option on the E3 Pro.

Best for: People who want a mesh chair with a moving three-zone lumbar pad, a 4D headrest and wide-range armrests, with an optional footrest

Pros

  • Three-zone lumbar with published travel (6 cm height, 3.2 cm depth, 40° side wings)

SIHOO Doro S100
SIHOO

SIHOO Doro S100

Price: $499.99 – $509.99

Score 92/100 — Spec record A: 20 · features (headrest, lumbar support, armrests, recline/tilt, adjustable seat depth): 40 · capacity 330 lb: 20 · warranty 3 yr: 12

The Doro S100 is SIHOO's mesh chair with a split lumbar support: SIHOO calls it dual dynamic lumbar support, two independent pads that follow your posture rather than being set by hand. The upper part of the backrest works as an integrated headrest and adjusts up or down in five levels, the 4D coordinated armrests are linked to the backrest, and the seat depth adjusts. Official figures: the SIHOO US store specification table lists general dimensions of 27" wide, 30" deep and 45"-50" high, a seat depth of 15.15"-17.12", a maximum hip width of 20.07", a maximum load of 330 lbs, a product weight of 49.13 lbs and a 3-year warranty, and the page says the chair suits users from 5 ft (150 cm) to 6 ft 3 in (190 cm). The armrests move up and down 2.76 in, forward and back 1.18 in, side to side, and rotate 72°. SIHOO's UK store comparison table gives a seat height of 46-54 cm (18.11-21.26 in), a seat width of 51 cm (20.08 in) and a recline range of 98°-135°. The UK store lists a lower maximum load (up to 300 lb) and a single seat depth figure (16.53") for its enlarged-seat version; we show the US figures. Price: the SIHOO US store lists a regular price of $499.99 (Black) and $509.99 (White). On 2026-10-08 both colours were shown as sold out on the US store, and the Black version also showed a lower sale price; we only record the regular list price, so check the live page before ordering. Doro S100 against the Doro S300: both have dual lumbar pads and an integrated headrest. The S300 lists at $999.99 and adds 6D arms (the S100 has 4D) and an adjustable lumbar angle; it is heavier (26.2 kg / 57.75 lb on the UK store against the S100's 49.13 lbs) and its UK seat height is 47-55.5 cm against the S100's 46-54 cm. Both list a 330 lb maximum load and a 3-year warranty on the US store. Doro S100 against the Doro C300: the C300 has a single self-adaptive lumbar pad, a separate 3D headrest and 4D arms, and lists at $559.99-$569.99 for the Standard Version. What to check before ordering: availability on the US store, the seat depth range (15.15"-17.12") if you have long thighs, and whether an integrated headrest suits you better than a separate one.

Good to check first: Both colours showed as sold out at SIHOO's US store on our last check, so confirm stock.

Best for: People who want SIHOO's split dual lumbar pads and an adjustable seat depth at about half the S300's list price

Pros

  • Dual dynamic lumbar pads; integrated headrest with 5 backrest levels
  • 4D armrests: 2.76 in up/down, 1.18 in fore/aft, 72° rotation
  • Adjustable seat depth (15.15"-17.12") and 330 lb US load rating

Good to know

  • Has shown as sold out at SIHOO's US store; confirm stock
  • No separate headrest; the upper backrest serves as one
  • UK store lists a lower 300 lb load and a different seat depth figure

SIHOO Doro C300 Ultra V2
SIHOO

SIHOO Doro C300 Ultra V2

Price: $679.99 – $689.99

Score 92/100 — Spec record A: 20 · features (headrest, lumbar support, armrests, recline/tilt, adjustable seat depth): 40 · capacity 330 lb: 20 · warranty 3 yr: 12

The Doro C300 Ultra V2 is the highest model in SIHOO's Doro C300 line. SIHOO builds it on a reclining base it calls the Zero-Gravity Space Chassis (fiberglass plates combined with a four-spring suspension), with a backrest that glides on a dual-track, dual-spring mechanism as you lean back (SyncroFlex), a sacral-lumbar pad that moves up and down and has three support levels (Domino 2.0), 8D armrests, a 3D headrest, an aluminium-alloy backrest frame and a mesh back and seat. The US store sells it only as the Footrest Version, in Black or White. Official figures (SIHOO US store): seat depth 16.9"–18.5" (1.6" of travel), seat width 20.5", backrest height 21.1"–24.2" above the seat (7 settings over 3.2"), maximum load 330 lbs, net weight 57.10 lbs and recline positions at 105°, 120° and 135°. The seat height (47.5–55.5 cm, about 18.7"–21.9") and the overall size (70 cm wide at the base, 74 cm deep, 113–133.5 cm high) come from the dimension drawing in SIHOO's specification panel, not from the written spec list, and that drawing labels the seat depth about 0.5 cm shorter than the written figure. SIHOO does not publish a recommended user height for this model. Warranty: 3 years, covering manufacturing defects (SIHOO US store). Price: the SIHOO US store lists $679.99 (Black) and $689.99 (White). On 2026-10-13 the store showed $609.99 and $619.99; we record the list price only, so check the live page before ordering. What to check before ordering: the seat height is published only in a drawing, so compare 47.5–55.5 cm with your desk height and leg length. There is no version without the footrest on the US store, and the chair weighs 57.10 lbs (SIHOO's UK store says it ships in two packages).

Best for: People who want the recline-focused top model of the Doro C300 line, with a footrest, adjustable seat depth and a height-adjustable backrest

Pros

  • Seat depth 16.9–18.5 in, seat width 20.5 in, back height 21.1–24.2 in
  • Three recline positions (105°, 120°, 135°) and a built-in footrest
  • Sacral-lumbar pad that moves up and down with 3 support levels; 8D armrests

Good to know

  • Seat height is shown only in SIHOO's dimension drawing, not the spec list
  • Sold only as the Footrest Version on the US store
  • Net weight 57.10 lb

SIHOO Doro C300 Pro
SIHOO

SIHOO Doro C300 Pro

Price: $789.99 – $839.99

Score 92/100 — Spec record A: 20 · features (headrest, lumbar support, armrests, recline/tilt, adjustable seat depth): 40 · capacity 330 lb: 20 · warranty 3 yr: 12

The Doro C300 Pro is the step up from SIHOO's Doro C300 in the brand's mesh office chair range, and sits below the Doro S300 in price. It keeps the C300's general shape (a mesh back and mesh seat, a separate adjustable headrest and an automatic lumbar pad) and adds two things SIHOO highlights on the product page: an adjustable seat depth and 6D armrests that move up and down, left and right, front and back, inward and outward, with a tilt-lock and a linked recline. Official figures: SIHOO's US store lists general dimensions of 28" wide x 28" deep x 45"-51" high, a seat depth of 16.81"-17.76", a maximum hip width of 20.28", a 330 lb maximum load, a product weight of 55.34 lbs and a 3-year warranty, and says the chair is designed for users from 5' to 6'3". The EU store gives a seat cushion height range of 46-56.7 cm (18.11-22.32 in). The UK store quotes a maximum recline angle of 135°. Note that the UK and EU stores list the maximum load as 136 kg (300 lb), lower than the US figure; we show the US figure because this page uses the US store. SIHOO also states BIFMA and SGS certification. The lumbar pad is what SIHOO calls the BM (Body Movement) Tracking System: it is not adjusted by hand but follows the backrest as you change posture. The headrest moves up and down, back and forth and rotates. Seat height, seat depth and recline are all set from one handle on the right-hand side. The chair comes in Black or White, each as a Standard Version or a Footrest Version with a pull-out leg rest. Price: the SIHOO US store lists a regular price of $789.99 (Black) or $799.99 (White) for the Standard Version and $829.99-$839.99 for the Footrest Version. The store usually shows a much lower sale price next to the regular price, so check the live price before ordering; we only record the regular list price. C300 Pro against the Doro C300: the base C300's regular price is $559.99-$569.99 (Standard Version). Both chairs carry a 330 lb maximum load on the US store and a 3-year warranty. The C300 Pro is slightly heavier (55.34 lbs against the C300's 51.15 lb UK net weight), has a wider seat height range on SIHOO's EU figures (46-56.7 cm against the C300's 47-55 cm on the UK store), and swaps the C300's 4D coordinated arms for 6D arms. If seat-depth adjustment and arms that also move inward and outward matter to you, the Pro is the one to compare; if not, the C300 covers the same lumbar idea for less. C300 Pro against the newer Doro C300 Pro V2: SIHOO's US store calls the V2 its "Premium Pick" and gives it a lower regular price ($499.99-$549.99), 8D armrests, a manually adjustable sacral-lumbar pad with 3 levels and a backrest that moves up and down. SIHOO does not publish a seat height for the V2, so the C300 Pro is currently the one of the two with a full official seat-height range. What to check before ordering: your height against SIHOO's 5' to 6'3" range, whether you want the footrest (it adds $40 to the regular price), and the 55 lb weight if you will carry the box upstairs.

What users love

  • Footrest lounging. C300 Pro users like stretching out with the footrest and a deep recline for a break.
  • Arms that adjust every way. C300 Pro users call the armrests some of the most adjustable they have used.

Good to check first: Compare it with the C300 Pro V2, which lists for less with newer features.

Best for: Long desk days for people who want seat-depth adjustment and 6D arms on a mesh chair with automatic lumbar

Pros

  • Adjustable seat depth (16.81"-17.76") and 6D armrests
  • 330 lb maximum load on the US store
  • Automatic lumbar pad, no manual adjustment needed

Good to know

  • List price is above the newer C300 Pro V2 (SIHOO US store)
  • UK/EU stores list a lower 300 lb (136 kg) load
  • No official backrest-height figure (the US label matches overall height)

Frequently asked

How is this list ordered?
By the same published score as our other computed lists: spec record, listed features, weight capacity and warranty, taken only from each brand's own specifications, with the lower list price first on a tie. It is not a comfort test, and no brand pays for a place.
Do you use sale prices?
No. Prices are the brand's official US list prices; stores often show a lower sale price, so check the live page before ordering.
Is the $1,000 limit on the starting price?
Yes. A chair is included when its official US list price starts at $1,000 or less; higher configurations of the same chair can cost more.
