What Fritz Hansen highlights

  • Named for a prize

The chair was first shown in Copenhagen in 1957. It won the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale the same year.

  • Two leg styles

The 3130 has steel legs and stacks. The 4130 has wooden legs that splay outward and does not stack.

  • Moulded shell

Like Jacobsen's other stacking chairs, the seat and back are one moulded shell.

As described by Fritz Hansen on its official pages; not a Chairpedia assessment.
