What Walter Knoll highlights

  • Bentwood and plywood

Steam-bent solid roundwood forms the front legs, arms and upper back support, joined with plywood. The outer arch curves around the body and becomes a front leg.

  • Reinforced for heavy use

Hidden steel inserts reinforce the rear legs. Walter Knoll says the chair is tested to the ANSI/BIFMA standard for office, lounge and public seating.

  • Clip-in seat pad

No screws or glue are used on the upholstery. The seat pad clips in between seat and frame without tools, so it is easy to change.

As described by Walter Knoll on its official pages; not a Chairpedia assessment.
