Summary

A leather executive chair from Antonio Citterio that brings lounge-chair styling to the office.

Best for

  • Executive offices that want a soft, leather-upholstered chair.
  • Those who want a neck cushion; the Highback has one that adjusts in height.
  • People who want to set the backrest resistance themselves.

Good to check first

  • The armrests are built into the seat shell and do not adjust.
  • The Highback has the neck cushion; the Lowback is a separate model without one.

The trade-off

Leather comfort and a refined look, with fewer adjustments than a task chair.

What Vitra highlights

  • Lounge-chair styling

Grand Executive takes the look of the Grand Repos lounge chair into an office chair. Decorative seams show its handcrafted details.

  • Leather upholstery

The seat and back are softly padded and covered in leather. The back shell is plastic, with polyurethane foam padding.

  • FlowMotion mechanism

The mechanism moves the seat and back together. You set the backrest resistance to suit you.

  • Height-adjustable neck cushion

The Highback version has a neck cushion that moves up and down.

  • Aluminium base

The five-star base is polished die-cast aluminium with double castors for hard and soft floors.

As described by Vitra on its official pages; not a Chairpedia assessment.
