What Martela highlights

  • One-piece frame

Martela says Kilta was groundbreaking in 1955 because its frame was cast from a single piece of expanded plastic. The chair is in museum collections such as MoMA in New York.

  • Castors, height and tilt

Version 224RG is fully upholstered on a five-star base with castors. It adds height adjustment and a tilt mechanism.

  • Base finishes

The base comes in white, black or polished aluminium.

As described by Martela on its official pages; not a Chairpedia assessment.
