What Knoll highlights

  • Tubular steel frame

Breuer reduced the club chair to its lines in bent tubular steel, inspired by bicycle frames. The frame comes in polished chrome, 18K gold plating or ultra-matte colours added in 2024.

  • Sling seat and back

Canvas, belting leather or cowhide slings are stretched across the frame instead of cushions.

  • Signed frame

Each frame is stamped with the Knoll logo and the designer's signature. Knoll says this authenticates it for life.
