Before you buy

Check these five things before you buy

The Doro name covers several chairs that share photography and spec language. Most disappointment comes from ordering a neighbouring model, so start here.

01
Confirm you are buying the base C300
The C300, C300 Pro and C300 Pro V2 are separate chairs sold under near-identical names and photography. The listing we link is the base model in Black (ASIN B0C3T865C2). Read the model name in the title, not the family name.
02
Resolve the armrest description
The reviewed Amazon title says 3D while SIHOO's page says 4D. This does not establish which hardware a seller will ship. Ask for the selected model's adjustment diagram if arm movement is important to your setup.
03
Check how the lumbar support is controlled
Do not infer an independent height or depth lock from an adaptive-support description. If you require a particular support position, ask the seller to identify the relevant controls on the exact model.
04
Take the weight capacity from the listing
SIHOO's page documents 330 lbs. Confirm the capacity for the selected item before ordering. A published maximum is not a promise about long-term durability or personal fit.
05
Know which return terms apply to your order
The 30-day trial applies to orders from SIHOO's official store only. An Amazon order follows Amazon's return window, which depends on who the seller is — check it on the listing before you buy.

Base C300: what this guide establishes

This guide concerns the base C300, not the C300 Pro, Pro V2 or S300. Furniblog has not conducted a sitting test. We distinguish published specifications from our editorial buying checks rather than treating marketing claims as measured results.

r1.jfif

Manufacturer and seller descriptions disagree

The linked Amazon model describes 3D armrests, while SIHOO's product page uses 4D. We cannot establish identical delivered hardware from those labels. Ask the seller which movements are available on the selected item.

r2.jpg

Use documentation for the correct model

During our September 10, 2026 check, the manufacturer page's Download Manual link led to a PDF labelled M18. We did not use that document as a C300 setup or fit reference. Before assembly, match the manual's model identifier to the chair and request the correct document if they differ.

r3.jfif

Compare the seat, not just the appearance

Think about whether you prefer a mesh or padded seat based on chairs you already use. Product photographs cannot establish seat firmness, edge pressure or long-term comfort. Keep those questions separate from the appearance of the frame.

Adaptive support is not a comfort guarantee

SIHOO describes adaptive lumbar support. That is a mechanism description, not evidence that the chair will suit every user. If you need a particular support position, obtain the exact adjustment diagram and evaluate the available return terms before ordering.

r4.jpg

Do not infer a seat slider from a depth range

A specification listing multiple seat-depth values does not, on its own, prove that the base chair has adjustable seat travel. We have removed the earlier sliding-seat claim. Ask the seller to identify the relevant control on the exact model instead of borrowing a feature from a Pro review.

Check the controls you actually need

Before buying, distinguish a recline angle from the available lock positions and resistance controls. If manual tension adjustment or an armrest lock is essential to you, ask the seller to demonstrate it. These are purchase checks, not defects observed in a Furniblog test.

r9.webp

What remains untested

We have not measured frame rigidity, mesh wear, armrest stability or assembly time. We therefore do not describe the materials as premium or claim that they will remain comfortable through years of use. Keep the order documentation for any warranty claim.

Comfort evidence and limits

Furniblog has not hands-on tested the C300. Earlier unattributed comfort anecdotes and first-person-sounding evaluations have been removed. No universal comfort, pain-relief or durability outcome is established by this guide.

r5.jfif

A practical fit check before ordering

Record the seat-to-floor height, usable seat depth and arm clearance of a chair that works with your desk. Request the matching dimensions for the selected C300. Do not substitute overall chair height for seat height, or treat a person's height alone as proof of fit.

r6.webp

Returns, warranty and ownership checks

Check the terms attached to the seller and region you order from. Establish whether an assembled chair is returnable, who pays return shipping, and how warranty parts are supplied. A trial or warranty advertised by a different store is not automatically part of your order.

From published reviews

Strengths and cautions

Drawn from manufacturer documentation and published reviews, not from our own use. Each point names its basis.

Strengths
An adaptive support approach to compare with manually positioned lumbar support.
Basis: Editorial selection criterion
Full-mesh back and seat with a flexible triangular backrest frame, built around airflow through long sittings.
Basis: Amazon listing · SIHOO page
Mesh seating is worth considering if you already prefer it to a padded cushion.
Basis: Editorial selection criterion; not a comfort test
Cautions
Conflicting listing descriptions require extra configuration checks before buying.
Basis: Source comparison
Seat-height fit and seat-depth adjustment remain unverified for the linked item.
Basis: Evidence limit
No Chairpedia sitting or durability test supports an all-day comfort recommendation.
Basis: Testing disclosure
Is it for you?

Who it's for, and who should skip it

The C300 shines for
Shoppers who want to compare mesh seating with a padded-seat alternative
Work-from-home setups prioritising breathability and adaptive lumbar over executive leather aesthetics
Multi-tasking workers who shift between typing, video calls, reading and light reclining throughout the day
Consider alternatives if you
Need a confirmed seat-height range or seat-depth slider that the seller cannot demonstrate
Prefer manual lumbar depth control
Want armrests that lock firmly
Need an independently tested recommendation rather than a specification-based shortlist

The bottom line

Shortlist the base C300 if its mesh seat and adaptive support approach match what you want to compare. Our recommendation is conditional: resolve the listing discrepancies and establish fit before buying. We have not hands-on tested it, so the current evidence does not justify calling it comfortable for every body type or equal to a more expensive chair.

If you prefer a padded seat, start with the linked M18 comparison. If a particular adjustment is essential, ask the seller to demonstrate it on the exact model. An unanswered fit question is a reason to keep comparing, not to assume that a higher-priced version solves it.

Choose the configuration that fits your requirements, not the longest feature list.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Doro C300 the same chair as the C300 Pro?+

No. They are separate products sold under similar names. This review and the buy link cover the base C300 in Black (ASIN B0C3T865C2). Check the model name in the listing title before ordering.

Are the armrests 3D or 4D?+

The reviewed Amazon title says 3D; SIHOO's page says 4D. Confirm the delivered hardware with the seller rather than treating either label as a guarantee.

Does the base C300 have seat-depth adjustment?+

We have not verified a slider on the linked configuration. A depth range in a specification table does not establish adjustable travel. Request the correct model's control diagram.

Will it fit me?+

SIHOO publishes overall height (42–49 in), backrest height (18.11–21.65 in) and seat depth (17.13–18.11 in), but not a seat-to-floor range or a recommended user height for the base model. Take the seat height from the listing and compare it with your desk. Our own measurements will be added after testing.

Can I set the lumbar support myself?+

Do not assume a manual height or depth lock from an adaptive-support description. We have not verified those controls on the linked configuration. Ask the seller to demonstrate them if they are essential to you.

Does the 30-day trial apply to Amazon orders?+

No. The 30-day trial is offered by SIHOO's official store only. Amazon orders follow Amazon's return window, which depends on the seller — check it on the listing.

Has Chairpedia tested this chair?+

Not yet. This review is research-based, built from the Amazon listing, SIHOO's documentation and published reviews. When hands-on testing is complete we will add our own measurements, photography and a note of what changed.
